no better time to start than now...

ok, so i am giving this blog thing a try. for starters... sometimes i don't make sense, i rarely use big words, my punctuation and wording may not always be grammatically correct. i love life, i love my family, i love that i am able to worship and praise a loving Father whom has blessed me more than i can ever imagine! i have a nine and a half month old muffin! she has her daddy's good looks, his stunning big blue eyes, his pink full lips, and my firey personality. go figure. i learned something at a baby shower last weekend. a very wise new mom with a three month old said we need to really listen to the labels we give our children. we should always shower them with encouragement and call them sweet names. she even went on to say, that they hear what we are saying even at a young age and that we are, in a way, prophesying what they will become. so, as i said before, a "fiery personality" only means she is stubborn like me, independent, and specific. she lines her babies (aka. her stuffed animals) up in her crib, she is very organized, and acts so proud when she puts something back in its original spot. SO CUTE! every single day she surprises me. every single day i praise God that i get to be her mom. that He chose me to be her mom. me! wow! what an amazing job! day in and day out i have someone who thinks i hung the moon. someone to tell all my secrets to. someone that loves me unconditionally. someone that belongs ultimately to God that i get to borrow on earth. someone that i am blessed by each and every moment!
