we headed to the orthopedic today for a great report! we only have TWO more weeks of wearing the sling IF the next x-ray (on july 11th) looks promising. YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!! i am so excited! she really is doing well! she has adapted well to using one arm and uses the left one as best she can! she is also doing great at wearing her sling. she calls it her "pocket". it was so funny at the doctors office because an older lady was there with her arm in a sling when betsy grace saw her she said, " mommy, she has a BIG POCKET!!!" i giggled! thank you so much for your encouragement, prayers, and concern! i am so blessed by friends like you! m

What wonderful news! 2 more weeks! She is such a little doll. When Hudson saw her sling Sunday at church, he said "I'm sorry you hurt your arm. I hurt my toe on the bathtub last night." And then held up his foot. I thought that was hilarious. Their little 2 year old conversation about their ailments. I will teach Hudson that his toe is not nearly as big of a deal! I guess he was just trying to bond :) Glad that she is healing well and you will have really good, healthy days together to enjoy those precious moments of "just mommy and me" before the baby!
