at 1:30 this morning bug screams out in severe pain... is it her arm? did she roll on it? is it worse? nope. totally different. she was grabbing her diaper like there was a fire in it. so, we headed to the pedi this am. and were diagnosed with exactly what i thought a urinary tract infection. YIKES! my best guess is she was holding her te-te because diaper changes hurt her arm so much... that turned into the UTI... that makes it super painful to te-te. i bet you are reading this asking seriously... is mimi blogging about her daughters private part. and the answer is YES. i know so many of you know and love JESUS and i am asking for prayers. i am humbling myself before you and saying i am really struggling with all of this. i am pretty sure my sweet, patient husband is ready to commit me to a psych unit. the four hours of sleep are not cutting it and i have mastered the task of turning into a puddle in a moments notice. i know God is teaching me how to be a better parent, i know HE is so faithful, and i know this too shall pass. i just need a sprinkle instead of a down pour. thanks for your thoughts and prayers. they are greatly appreciated already! m

Mimi, I recently ran across your blog, and I really enjoy reading up on you and your wonderful family! Just dig deep and know that HE will never fill our plates with more than HE knows we can handle. Just keep the faith and continue to be the wonderful wife and mommy that you have always been. Just remember "this too shall pass" and I'll pray for a bright & fufilling tomorrow for you and your presious baby girl!
I feel your pain. Jack broke his arm and had a full cast for a whole month and less than 2 weeks after he got his cast off he got a horrible virus that apparently consists of very painful lesions in his mouth that you can't do anything for.... I'm glad I'm not the only mom that knows when it rains it pours....Remember, babies (toddlers) heal quickly!
On the bright side...at least this in not all happening the week you bring the new baby home! Now THAT would be fun.
Praying for you guys!
Praying for you--I'm here if you need anything. Love you,
Mimi- This same exact thing happened to my daughter when she was 18 months old. Kudos to you for figuring out the problem. It took me two doctor appts and finally a 2 day hospital stay to clear ours up. Good news is, it's a great time to teach potty training. They actually learn how to hold it. It worked for my now 8 year old Caroline. She was potty trained at 18 months thanks to a UTI... Hang in there!

Poor little bug.... I hate that for her. God is good and He will provide you with the strength you need to take care of yourself, and your babies! Take heart my friend... it is all going to be ok. "I know the plans I have for you says the Lord..."
Mimi,
I'm glad I clicked over here from Nicki's blog tonight. You and Betsy are in our prayers tonight! One day (or moment!) at a time, girl!

I just found you on here! I'm so sorry about Betsy's collar bone. I hope she heals quickly!
